Is Obsidia legit?
Obsidia is a real marketplace with Stripe checkout and a written dispute window. It is not a warehouse that authenticates bottles before they ship. The details below are the ones that matter before you pay or list.
Who operates Obsidia?
Obsidia is a fragrance marketplace operated by Dreamsmith LLC. Buyers and sellers in the US check out in the iOS app, the Android app, or the web app. Payments are processed by Stripe.
Does Obsidia hold the payment?
Yes. The buyer pays through Stripe, and the payment is held until the order is complete. After delivery, the buyer has 48 hours to inspect the order or open a dispute.
Does Obsidia authenticate bottles in person?
No. Obsidia does not inspect bottles in a warehouse. Sellers add proof photos of the bottle they are shipping: front, back, bottom, under the cap, and the valve. Buyers compare the delivery with those photos during the inspection window.
What does a seller pay?
Sellers pay 10% of the item price, and never more than $15 on a sale. A $40 sale is a $4 fee. A $150 sale and a $500 sale are both a $15 fee. Stripe processing is separate. Shipping is the label price. No subscription is required.
What is the minimum order?
The minimum order is $5.
Questions about a specific order go to support@obsidia.app. The longer version of checkout, disputes, and seller rules is on Trust. A step-by-step of an order is on How it works.
