How Obsidia works

Obsidia is a marketplace for decants and bottles, operated by Dreamsmith LLC. Buyers and sellers use the iOS app, the Android app, or the web app. This page is the short version. The rules live on Trust.

1. Browse active listings. A decant can be offered in up to 20 sizes. Bottle listings show fill level and whether the box is included.
2. Check out with Stripe. One cart can include listings from more than one seller. The order minimum is $5.
3. The seller ships on a tracked ground label. Perfume is not offered by air. The usual ship-by window is 72 hours. Shipping details.
4. After delivery, the buyer has 48 hours to inspect the order or open a dispute.
5. The seller is paid through Stripe when the order completes. Instant payouts depend on that seller's Stripe eligibility.

Sellers pay 10% of the item price, capped at $15. There is no subscription that changes the fee. See the fee on a $40, $150, and $500 sale.

Obsidia does not run a warehouse authentication program. Sellers upload proof photos, and buyers compare the delivery to those photos during the inspection window.
